Two months ago I made a car accident and the surgeons have removed 1.5 m terminal ileum
Can anyone tell me if I have any hope that the diarrhea to terminate. What are the consequences in this case?

Thanks for u comment. Tell the truth my ileocecal valve is not removed by surgeons.I still have 100 cm of ileum+ileocecal valve valve.  Any other opinion?

With the loss of the 'valve' at the terminal ileum, the contents of the small intestine unfortunately move more rapidly into the large intestine more rapidly than they should. With that movement, a large amount of fluid also accompanies the contents. That amount of 'bulk' can result in the diarrhea you're describing. Some people report it does slowly resolve, but others continue to have problems.

You may want to consider trying to 'sop-up' some of that liquid by trying the use of a low-residue diet, or perhaps trying to use more 'fiber' to firm-up the contents of the digestive tract. Morecambe, one of the posters on the board has some excellent suggestions in his posts for those who have had the large intestine removed and have diarrhea as a result. You may want to check through his posts for some suggestions that might be of help to you.
