Babykel, have yourself checked for autoimmune pancreatitis.
well kelly,im sorry to hear about your misfortune with your pancreas!!!!
there is two main ways to have pancreas issues,,,one is alcohol abuse, the other is just naturaly.
see your liver, pancreas, gallbladder, stuff like that,,its all connected and if one thing in the "chain" has an issue,it can effect the other regions.
so somehow, some reason,a young lady like yourself ends up with this problem,,,,for no apparent reason.
now you have chronic pancreatitis, and the main thing you can do is try to live your life the way you want to!,,,to see things you want to,to do things you want to!,,,you understand?
this disease is a progressive one and the main thing for you now is quality of life.
1.make sure you control the pain if possible,i know pancreatitis can be very painfull.
2.watch what you eat,no fatty foods,alcohol,fried foods,stuff like that
3.im sure you are,but if your not,get on enzyme theropy to help aid in digestion of your food...these can be taken by capsules, and let the pancreas "relax"....a calm pancreas is a good one!!!
