i got sick again last night

hi i had my gall bladder out on the 10 of this month[sept] last night after my husband and i had supper i got sick like i did before i had my surgery. we had some saugage and some ranchstyle beans [i tell you this because i was wondering if it was to heavy.] sat. while i was at work[ i just went back on the thurs. before.] i picked up a box of bags [they weigh about 25 pounds] now i am sore on the top cut where he[ dr. banda] took out my gall bladder. did i do something when i picked up those bags?.[ i work for wal mart as i csm up front].i have 2 cuts on my right side and he put one on my belly button . am i o.k. or did i do some thing i shouldt have? i am just afraid i did some thing when i picked up those bags. since i got sick i was doing really good with my recovery. can you tell me did i do something?

hi thanks i had a BLT sanwich for breakfast this morning and i did o.k. i was able t go to the drivers lic. place and the bank and 2 more stops and i did fine i didnt have to go to the bathroom till i got home and i ate it at 7;30 this morning so i will stay away from the sauage and stuff like that for now. thanks for the help. susan

Check with your doc about restrictions on lifting and bending. He should have given you post-surgical instructions.

You may want to limit your intake of fatty foods - the sausage may be a bit too fatty at this point. You're not going to be able to process fats the way you did before surgery for awhile and it may take some time to get back to normal.
