ibs, stomach spasms

Acctually I don;t know what I have, the doc said that my description does not satisied the definitions for IBS but I should take it as it is IBS. I have tried some therapies and also some kinds of diet, and the onl;y think that I can really say that helps are - Acupuncture (significant help) and Reflexology (somehow help).

The Acupuncture expert is also a doc and he say that I have Stomach Spasms, I guess he is saying that jus from his experience.

Every tme I feel bad with the stomach I see that the Acupuncture  treatement really helps, it make me feel much better with the stomack, very significiant  Relief and also the overall mood is getting much better.

My questions - is it familiar that Acupuncture helps ? Are there any other things which I can do mysel that will hellp me ?
It is common to do Acupuncture all life long ? (i am doing it for the last 3 months).

Thank you,
Jack

I have tried probiotic for several months, cost a lot of money but definetly didn't help at all.

About foods - there is no dount that there is a storing correlation with certain types of food, for example - if i drink a big glass of milkshake I will definetly have a severe episode of IBS.

Until now the only thing that really help is - Acupuncture and also the impact is immediate.

Also some Chinese formulas help, I would say that they also help definitely.

I am trying some other altermative therapeis but so far it is only Acupuncture  and Chinese formulas that definitely help.

I am trying to find to someone that will teach to do Acupuncture  by myself at home.

Acctually my sutuiation now is much better since I know what helps.

Thank you.

You might also want to try a probiotic.  I'm not quite sure what you mean by colic.  Other than that, you might want to look into figuring out if your symptoms go along with a certain food.

I have a soty of acute gastritis from time to time, no particular reason, when I have a sensation I am week and feel like someone who has a sort of flu.

Also I do have many time something which feels like a colic that I can;t control, but without pain.

My situation is much better since I have started with acupuncture.

I did some medical tests that found nothing beside very mild Gastritis, also did among that: Ultrasound, CT and also biopsy.

I am with these problems for around 15 years or more but it had become mouch worse in last 6-7 years.

Thank you.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Yes, acupuncture does helps some people a lot.  It isn't common but it can be done to have acupuncture for a long time.  I can't recommend anything else that might help without knowing what your symptoms are.
