Dry coughs due to GERD?

I was diagnosed with GERD a while back, probably two years ago. But lately Ive had these dry coughs. I also had unprotected sex almost four months ago, took an HIV test, and it came back negative. That was at the 14th mark, should be conclusive based on this site. Im still scared cause a month or two ago, i was vomiting my food, id get sorethroats cause of all food coming back up. when i would throw up my food or drinks, it seemed as if bile or whatever you call it was bubbly, but now its just I cant stop coughing.

Do you think my dry coughs are due to my gerd?

im going to have an endoscopy done next monday, but am pretty scared it could be something worse like HIV,Hepatitis, or something.
