Iam not sure why your having this problem, but most times things like this can be solved by just introducing some GOOD bacteria into your intestines. The best product I have found for this is intestiFlora,(Sku #AA-0114) made by Nutrilite.

You will find Nutrilite products on this site by clicking on health. You'll also want use the digestive Enzymes, Sku #A-8903. Any money, this will fix your problem. Although maintaning these results will require you to include more (LIVE)foods in your diet. For an example un cooked and un processed foods, such as raw fruits and raw veggies...
Sincerly, Zoelife
P.S. Drink lots of Water
I too have the similar symptoms. I'm 52 and this began about two years ago. I eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables every day and drink lots of water. This is very annoying, and advice will be helpful.
I too have the same symptoms you mentioned....incomplete bowel movement is the "nice" term from my GI dr. I had a colonoscopy which was fine. He and my primary Dr. recommended fiber....doesn't help. I get better relief (when it allllll comes out) by being constipated and the stool is very firm! Occasionallly, that happens and I get so happy but then the next day, back to incomplete. I was wondering if you took advice of zoelife for the intesti Flora, digestive enzymes, raw foods and did it work....that is my next hope beside another trip to different GI Dr.
i too have this problem, any suggestions would be appreciated. i have tried eating fiber but this does not make any difeerence.... please help
This is a very dangerous symptom of what could be colon cancer. Incomplete elimination is the key symptom of colon cancer. If you keep ignoring this problem, it maybe very late.
Here is what you should do if you have incomplete elimination,
1) STOP eating anymore foods. Eat only liquid foods or light foods that are very easy to digest. Eat very low fiber or no fiber, because digesting fiber is difficult if digestive system is not fully working.
2) Follow the routine in step 1, for few days and notice your bowel movements. If you feel totally empty and experience full elimination switch back to regular eating.
If it does not help, see a doctor.
Holding stuck feces inside results in fecal stagnation and that can lead to a variety of complications including cancers, constipation, intestinal infections etc etc.
And the worst thing you can do in such circumstance is to overeat or indulge into eating for pleasure.
hey, I have had this problem with about a year now. i do have "good spells" where everything goes back to normal but these only last for a week at most and they do not occur very often. there has also been an increase in my amount of gas. i am certain that there has been some damage to the surrounding muscles, and this explains the reason why I "cant let go". there has been no other symptoms except for these.. is there any d.i.y treatment for such damage? please do not suggest the doctor, i am mortified!!
I've got the same problem, but the cause of it is a proctocele - a sack ( stretched tissue) in a lower area of the colon. It makes impossible to eliminate all the feces during BM - part of them just got trapped in this sack. I've undergone a proctocele surgery 3 years ago - it didn't help. Now there is a new technics to perform this type of operation - I think I'll go through it, 'cause it's not life if your mood and thoughts swirl around your success in the restroom.
hey katy,
thanks for replying, its good to know what it is because it is really frustrating. do you have any advice for coping with it? I will see a doctor eventually but i jus want to get my exams out the way first!
hi i was experiencing the symptoms you described.
i am using glycerol suppositories to help stimulate the bowel motions.. it just seems to speed things up, so i am not spending hours straining on the toilet :S
i have noticed that the problem of incomplete bowel motions go in cycles depending on stress levels. work/exams make it worse for me, and during holidays, the problem goes away.
hope that helps
I have severe constipation, half year only a few times, and I used too many laxative, and the laxative doen't work anymore, my doctor suggest me to remove the whole entire large intestine, but I saw tv have 1 man and 1 lady suffer severe dirrera (28 times per day, they both want suicide, and can't work) and I was told by my brother and friends already have 7 persons died after this surgery. Is any one had removed the large intestine and is safety now. my email address is ***@**** thank you
hello, you might be dealing with some impaction, which the stools are harder and stop because of this. my husband has the same problems, he takes senna kot on a daily basis or you will need to put salad in your diet daily if you don't like it even a small amount everyday with your lunch or supper. the more salad the merry er. this works wonderfully or putting your lettuce and tomatoes on you sandwiches everyday. p.s. senna kot is sold over the counter and is delicate on your digestive trak. jenny 590
I had this problem for almost 20 years and found a simple and miraculous solution about 8 years ago. A doctor told me to use an enema every morning for 3 weeks. This made me a little more regular. After that period of time, use the plastic bottle filled with warm water every day. Sometimes I empty my bowel fully on my own but I often have to use the enema. I'll repeat the process if I don't empty fully the first time. This system has completely changed my life. My 4 kids don't have to wait for me while I spend hours in the bathroom hoping for relief. By the way, I tried many medicines and went to several of the best doctors in the nation before finding this easy solution. It has completely changed my life.
have you found any help yet? I started having the same problem and found the taking Miralax (found at drugstore) everyday helps but I don't know if i have to continue this for the rest of my life. Does anybody know what the problem really is??
i have the same problem , have been told i have a bowel prolapse which happened after a hysterectomy.....drs wanted to do some more testing, haven't done that as yet but have used the "water enemas" using disposable fleet bottles which my rectal surgeon told me to use (had hemmrhoidectomy in past)....also have used the miralax, kind of alternate these for periods of time....seems to work but still have some pain (possibly now have more hemmrhoids?) upon bowel movement if i'm not very vigilant in keeping up the methods mentioned above.
may go back to the doctor again soon but for now this is the best treatments i have used...maybe you might try the gynecologist and not just the gastro drs...just a tho't.
I have the problem in conjunction with problems unrinating, but it appears it was caused by a lower back injury which causes nerve damage

Hi - I have been suffering form the same incomplete bowel movement problem since the last almost 2 years. It started out of the blue. I don't know what it could be though I do have a history of gastrointestinal problems in my family. I have tried changing diet to high fibre and raw foods but there is still not a day when i feel really relieved. The last time it happened was after an intense exercise session and never since. I have started exercising regularly and hope that it helps. Just wondering, but (i) do any of your have gas problems also and (ii) was there a period of inactivity which preceded the arrival of these BM issues? (since this was the case with me, a change in lifestyle from active to completely inactive)
its been 10 years m facing this problem. now m 30 and still sufferring. no long travels, no long outings for shopping etc. life has just stopped @ d age of 20.. just beaing with it.
any sincere correct solution ...........................................
Something that has helped me a lot with this problem is Charcocaps (activated charcoal).
I take them several times a day. You can buy them OTC at CVS or Walgreens. There seems to be a relationship between this problem and intestinal gas,
i have a anal fissure and may be internal heommeroids ..suddenly my bowl movt changed .. incomplete bowl movt.. daily comes but incomplete..now i got a headach also b,c of that...i realy very very worrry about that..pls pls. pls. help.
what for all these writings. have you ever got an answer to what you post!
Maybe a little late. But try squatting when going to the bathroom. Helps me a bit when I get those dry and incomplete bowel movements.
Not just raising your knees and stuff, full out squatting. You can look it up on the net how you do it :)
I also have this problem of incomplete evacuation and have now been diagnosed with a rectocele and a intussusception where the bowel telescopes in on itself making it impossible to go to the toilet.
I had a proctogram and a barium enema and a sigmoidoscopy to find out what my problem was and I am waiting now for an operation to cure the problem.
Maybe speak to the doctor about a proctogram as this shows how well the bowel empties and what if anything stops evacuation.
I also have rectocele and a problem similar to yours, may I ask what kind of operation you are having? Have you had this problem a long time. For me, it has been 4 1/2 years and they are recommending a subtotal colectomy. Thanks for any answers!
