I'll be getting both an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy this month, and my question is - and I don't know why I want to know this exactly - which do they do first, if anyone knows.  I'm having them done at the same appt. but I just am curious if there is any particular order in which they do them.

I had mine done both at the same time just last month. They did the endoscopy first, I think because it's the quickest. Then they did the colonoscopy. The whole thing only took about a half an hour or so. I don't remember the exact time. I was out for the whole thing! It wasn't bad at all though. Hope this answers your question!

I had mine done seperately so I'm not sure which one they would do first. I imagine you will be so sedated (as was I) you won't even remember or care which one is done first. Good Luck to you.
