thanks!
Dear,
hiii , this is Pawan mehra
thanks for all ur support
i have tested -ve for h pylori by UBT Test
doc is giving me Mesalazine for left ulcers in the colon,
pls tell me the ulcers in my colon is due to h pylori only ?
will it be cured completely by mesalzine,
shall i have to undergo colonoscopy again to check weather ulcers are healed or not.
Mesalazine may also cause some stomach upset (read for side effects on the label).
To be sure if H. pylori is eradicated, you should have a breath urea test for H. pylori. Symptoms should go away right after the end of the antibiotic treatment.
There are other possible triggers of acidity: acidic drugs: aspirins, ibuprofen...acidic food, anxiety...and gallbladder disorder to name some. Pain under right ribs, you've mentioned in the first post, may be from gallbladder. The first investigation for gb is ultrasound.
Dear,
at 1st thanks for your help !
I was given a antibiotic treatment for 10 Days.after that i have also been given Mesalzine for a month, but still i have a acidity problem ,
can you tell how much months it will take to recover the symtoms of acidity & ulcer, if H.Pylori is killed.
H. pylori should be treated with antibiotics. Have you recieved them?
Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammation of small and large intestine. Colonoscopy will be needed to find eventual changes in colon. If the disease will be confirmed, you get anti-inflammatory drugs, which are often quite helpful. You might want to read more about Crohn's disease in mayoclinic.com site.
I can't say from here, if the pain after hitting is from kidneys (pain in the back), liver or gallbladder (pain in the front), ribs or muscles. Tell this to doctor, and let him to examine you. If it was liver, liver enzymes in blood would be elevated.
Dear ,
My doctor, has got H.pylori +ve in me & got small ulcers in my Intestine
,but in the Biopsy report he is saying there are possibilities of Chrons diesease whats that?
& also i still dont know when i beat at the back why i get pain in liver area( below the right rib cage).
kindly suggest.
Myself Domnic having the same problem of Mr.Pawanmehra which is cracking sounnd in the left side of stomach, getting pressure after meals,2 much of hunger, feeling of incomplete stool passing.
"Having something in the area" when your stomach is empty, as you've said, and acidic feeling...speak for duodenal ulcer or inflammation. Endoscopy seems to be appropriate procedure.
Dear,
I visited a Gastroentrologist , but he said that , i dont have any gallblader or liver diesease & denied for ultrasonography, Now he is saying to go for Endoscopy to check for any infection & Ulcer.
kindly suggest.
It sems like an appropriate therapy, only I'm not sure about Dyrade MDS.
H. pylori is treated with "triple therapy": acid secretion blocker omeprazole (Rablet), and a combination of two antibiotics: metronidazole (Metrogyl) + one of these: tetracycline, clarithromycin, amoxicillin. Dyrade does NOT contain any of these aditional antibiotics, but it again contains metronidazole. It is possible that yor H. pylori was cured with metronidazole only, but this was not exactly the right therapy. Yogurt was also proved to be effective.
If hitting to your back causes pain "in the liver area", this may be from gallbladder or liver disease, what can be checked with ultrasound.
Dear ,
thanks for your help!
Actually 8 months back my doctor treated me with some tablets can you tell me were they for H. pyori infection.
1.Dyrade MDS.---2 tabs a day for 15 days.
2.Rablet D---1 tabs a day for 30 days.
3. Yogurt (Capsule).1 tabs a day for 30 days.
4.Metrogyl 200---2 tabs a day for 15 days.
At last he said you just have hyper acidity and asked me to avoid oily foods & i never went to him.
kindly help out.
You should go to your personal doctor, and he will (I guess) arrange appointment with a gastroenterologist.
H. pyori is usually treated successfully with antibiotics in 2 weeks. About the liver/gallbladder....it depends on the cause.
Ya i have a burning sensation & Accompanying Vibrations sometimes in my stomach.
My stools do smell
Dear,can it be cured completely
can you help me finding doctor in INDIA -MUMBAI.
Thanx !
There may be more problems here.
Do you often burp? If yes, it's probably a H. pylori infection of your stomach. H. pylori produces gas and increases acidity of the stomach.
Sticky stools (do they smell badly?) and pain in liver area speaks for liver or gallbladder disease.
So, I think you should have:
1. Breath test for H. pylori.
2. Ultrasound of abdomen to check liver and gallbladder.
dear,
thanks ,
the colour of my stools is very rarely yellow, it is semi loose,
The colour of my stools is very rarely yellow, it is semi loose,
i always get pressure after having meal & i have to go to toilet.
i dont have pain actually i just have a sence of having somthing in that area ,when my stomach is empty.
cracking sounds comes when my stomach becomes empty.
it all started 11 months back when i used to work out in Gym , i think i might have done some heavy exercise
due to wich my stomach might have got some injury.
kindly help to diagnose
What is the color of your stools?
There may be two problems here: if you fel COLIC pain under the right rib cage shortly after eating FATY meal, it may be gallbladder problem (usualy stones). This may also be the cause of diarrhea.
Acidity + gas (burping?) is usually from H. pylori infection of teh stomach.
