Do you/does anyone happen to know if rectangular stool can be caused by growth anywhere else (small intestines, or perhaps even lymphoma)??
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The sedation that's given could tamp down evidence of spasms.

I had a colonoscopy in April and it was normal. Would "spasms of the colon" be seem during a colonoscopy?
Changes in stool structure can be a function of spasms of the colon or possible changes to the walls/structural characteristics of the colon. You may want to schedule an appt. with your doc to have it checked out.
