i had a colonoscopy today.doctor is send me for an small bowel xray? because after prepping, my small bowel was not emptied. he told my mother in law that he took a few small pieces for biopsy but he told her he didn't see cancer. for a long time now i have had what feels like a lump under my ribcage around my liver, and i am bloated in my stomach, tired all the time, hip and pelvic pain.does anyone know what this could possibly mean? thank you.

Have you tried laxatives? They definitely won't solve your problem, but they will bring you some sort of relief.

I too feel like I have a lump under my rib cage. It gets sore daily. I also have a lot of other symptoms though. I have IBS...at least that is what they diagnosed me with last week. The pain is part of it I guess

I'm curious if you have had any previous abdominal surgeries.  I have been told that adhesions may be causing my pain and that I'll have to present with a bowel obstruction before a surgeon will open me up.  I'm sorry you are suffering like this.  Do ask your doctor what you can do for relief.   Have you tried a liquid diet for a day?
