spots on liver/ enlarged spleen

spots on liver/ enlarged spleen

Ok...I have an enlarged spleen and suspicious "spots"  on my liver that were detected on an ultrasound. Cannot eat other than small portions, nausea, bloating, upper abd. pain almost on a daily basis. Have had some days with fatigue, dizziness, and major pains those days. MRI to follow as soon as i hear from them!
Any ideas?????

OH...sorry...new here and i keep forgetting to add things.
Had an upper endoscopy done....all good except for mild chronic gastritis, and they dilated(enlarged?) my esophagus some. then i had a gastric emptying study which came back normal. they checked my stools for everything possible...all good.
Next step is MRI of liver/spleen
                  small bowel follow through test
This is to add to my previous posts....AGAIN...SORRY!  :-)

Forgot to say that a year ago my alkaline phosphatase test came back elevated, which they "watched" and redid test a few mnths later, still elevated, waited, took test again, came back borderline. End of story. IF that test #3 would of come back elevated, the family dr would of wanted a liver biopsy. Hmm...coincidence to previous post???

Spots on my liver after CAT scan
by Thegypsy01, 3 minutes ago
I too have had the recurrent pain under my right rib cage for the past 3 months. I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago so that is ruled out. Went to my PC Dr who recommended an abdominal ultrasound. Did that came out clean. Then did another endoscopy and colonoscopy and they came out clean. Then did CT scan w/ contrast. Only found spots on my liver. I had CT s/ contrast 3 years ago and they found 2 small " benign" cysts. My gastro wants to follow up in 6 mo's. Don't know what for?? Still have the pain. Eat right and excercise. I am 49. Don't know what is causing it. Pain comes always after eating...and I do not eat junk or to excess. Anybody have any thoughts or recommendations on how to proceed to find out what's causing the pain? Doctors don't seem to know or take it too seriously but I am still worried cause my mom died of stomach cancer at age 62 and was misdiagnosed with an ulser. My my dad colon cancer at age 65 and had 1/2 his colon removed. He also had GERD and so do I. Bad Genes!!! Can anyone help?
