stomach pain

I've been having awful stomach pain in my upper right stomach for almost 24 hours now. It hurts to take deep breaths and nothing seems to relieve it.
I initially thought that it was gas pains, but it just isn't going away. I am belching constantly but have no other symptoms..
I'm wondering what this could be, I know that it isn't normal.

Thanks,, that is what I am thinking for today. I don't think it is food poisoning as I have no other symptoms and the pain is very high.
It has been over 24 hours now, however the level of pain goes up and down.. its never gone, but sometimes it takes my breath away and others I can function fully through it, its just uncomfortable.

Pain for 24 hrs straight..may be time for emergency room..just in case it is food poisoning or other more serious problem.
