I have a constant feeling as if I have food stuck in my throat. The feeling goes down towards my breastbone. Its worse when I drink water, any comments would be appreciated

Another thing you might want to have checked is the level of Magnesium in your blood. Most folks do not have anywhere near enough in their system and a severe lack of Magnesium can result in a sensation such as you describe. Been there... had that.

I also have the same thing, you have LPR (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux) here is a link to where you can read about it.  I have had my feeling in my throat since August of 08, but I also have some other stomach issues going on that hasn't allowed it to heal. good luck
