Diarrhea for a Week+

Hi,

I'm a US traveler on assignment in India. I drink and brush my teeth with sealed bottled water and only get food from my 5-star hotel and work cafeteria. Last Sunday (8 days ago and approximately halfway through my time here), I ate something that made my stomach upset and gave me a pretty loose bowel but no other issues. I didn't think much of it and had the same thing on Monday (in retrospect, stupid, I know). That night I had terrible chills, diarrhea, vomiting, and I felt as of I had a fever. It lasted approximately 24 hours.

But to this day, I continue to have exclusively liquid, pale yellow stools and sometimes feel nauseous after eating. I've been living off of granola bars mostly with a small meal at night like pasta or French fries. I realize they're not the healthiest choices but they're the only things on the menu I'm sure have to be cooked to such a degree to lower the risk of more poisoning. I'm keeping an eye out for dehydration but I am becoming concerned that I'm not getting better. I'm also wary of going to a hospital in a foreign country.

Thanks.

It could be C Diff.  It is tested for in a stool sample.  The treatment for C Diff is taking antibiotics, so you would need to see a doctor about this.
