my boyfriend refuses to go to the doctor, hes sick everynight for the past 3 years, even if hes just had a small meal, he says he bloated but cant be if he hasnt eaten much, hes also got yellowy blisters on the white part of his eye that are not just on one eye but both now, i dont know what to do he refuses to see the doctor! his family are all overweight, got high bp and high cholesterol they arent bothered about themselves and my partner doesnt seem bothered about himself either anymore.

Sounds to me like it could be his colsteral I would give him no choice but to go get it checked out. Tell him you love him and say it is for his own good.

yellowing of the white parts of the eyes usually indicate a liver problem or jaundice. i advise you get him to a doctor as soon as possible before damages are caused that cant be fixed. i feel your pain with him not wanting to go to the doc though i have the same problem with my partner but if you convince him its what it takes to make sure youll be there for eachother perhaps he'll go. as for the bloating even a small meal can cause pressure in the intenstine if an internal organ is swollen or irritated. it may be a good idea to have him monitor his diet and bowel movement patterns. good luck.

Your boyfriend sounds like he has stomach ulcers. There is nothing you can do if he refuses to go to the doctor. The only thing you can try is to ask him using "it really upsets me and i just want to make sure you are going to be okay" type speech. Ultimately though, it is his choice.
