What foods are best eaten for your blood

I have an extremely low blood count of red cells and was told it takes a long timefor it to replenish itself!  What foods can I eat to help it along quicker?  Thanks

The first thing to do is to purchase an old-fashioned heavy-duty iron frying pan, "season" it, and begin cooking in it. The iron will migrate to the food.

Ask your doctor what he thinks the anemia is due to. Often it is due to bleeding somewhere.

hello there, i went thru that due to anemia, my doc advised eating foods high in Iron,ie; Tuna, Avocado, almonds, watermelon. I also drank the vitamin called SS Tonic.. it did wonders.  I have not suffered from low red's or anemia ever again, and that's been like 8 years ago.  hope you get to feeling better. adios,

You might want to eat foods rich in iron aside from eating a well balanced diet since iron is needed in the production of red blood cells. There is a lot you can search for in the internet which is affordable and not very expensive. I suggest you look it up. :)

High protein (meats, nuts, some cheese) and green vegetables.
