Weird face reactions after a night of drinking.

I didn't know where to ask this since it's a strange reaction. After a typical night of drinking, I often get weird reactions on my face about 15 hours after drinking. I get a constant tingling sensation on my cheeks right on the cheek bone area and my lips as well. I lips feel stiff like I can't really move them. This makes it feel extremely awkward to smile and talk. I know this sounds kind of funny lol, but I don't know how else to explain it. I would like to know if there is a medical term for this and if there's anything I can do to prevent it from happening after every night I go drink.

there are chemical additives in alcohol - ie. wine.  You may be having an allergic reaction.

Maybe it is due to capillary dilation making the skin swollen.  Otherwise it does sound neurological.  It sounds like your body is trying to tell you it can't handle as much alcohol as you are throwing at it.  Some people do have a liver that just doesn't handle as much alcohol as other people's, so take a serious look at why you are drinking more than your body wants to tolerate.  If 1 or 2 drinks is all you can have without getting the reaction, listen to your body.

I am not a doctor.  But your explanation of this suggests to me that this is a neurological reaction to alcohol.  Stop drinking.  And see a doctor.
