Silent or blind migraines are common and sometimes scary until you recognize what they are and notice the indicators. Once you notice the subtle onset you can stop them
I get symptoms like that all the time, I just got put on lexapro for silent migraines with aura...Look them up, I thought I had nerve damage and found out it was just stress related :-) I hope that helps :-)
But have your eyes tested :-)
Luckylucy13,
This sounds closer to how a partially detached/damaged retina presents. You could have done some initial damage years ago and re-injured it with something as simple as a sneeze. Although floaters can occur from other issues, retinal damage or degradation is a common cause. That said, it does not appear to be nerve related based on your symptoms. Either way, I recommend that you see you eye doctor as soon as possible. Be sure to tell them what is happening when making your appointment (we tend to move those with time sensitive medical issues to the front of the line in our office).
Best of luck.
