Hammer Toe Surgery going too well?

I underwent hammer toe (one toe) surgery three days ago.  Is it going too well?  I have had no pain and the bleeding stopped spotting my bandaged area over the first 24 yours.  I have no pain and can easily walk in the stiff sole shoe provided.  Yet I understand it may take up to 6 weeks for me to completely heal.  Is it possible I may be healing a lot faster?  I have a one week follow up with my surgeon so I'll learn more then, for now I wonder if I am doing too well, I am missing something.  Maybe its me I'll admit I underwent a hernia surgery (male left side groin) a year ago and had no pain or other discomfort, just had to no do any heavy lifting for a month, yet a much simpler hammer toe surgery an take 6 weeks?
