anxiety pain or something worse???

i've been assured in Hiv prevention forum that i had no risk of contracting HIV from a protected vaginal sex with a prostitute.after the exposure all i think is about HIV and its on my mind most of the time. And after 25 days from my exposure i'm experiencing muscular pain in my upper back, neck and shoulder  which is supposedly one of the symptoms of ARS HIV and my body feels warm ( no temperature) during night. i also had 2 canker sore on my tongue two weeks back but its gone now. i'll be going for testing next month but to have some peace of mind, can someone tell me whether the muscular pain symptoms which i have described above can be from anxiety/ stress??? Thanks in advance.....

Of course it will be obvious. It will be like a rubber band on your penis. :)

Thanks so so much for the valuable inputs and i'll try to forget this one time encounter and move on with my life. But before i say goodbye, may i know how the condom will look like if it got broke during the intercourse as i was still penetrating even after ejaculating? will be obvious to my naked eye if indeed the condom failed? Thank you once again and have a Happy Newyear and best wishes in ur life, U guys are doing a wonderful job out here...keep it up!

Their is no chance that by magic a hole will appear... That said, once you have ejaculated, then use a new condom.

So to conclude, you were not at risk of HIV in any way or form, time to move on and enjoy.

Sorry, over looked the last statement, but try not to have sex again after ejaculation, or reuse condoms. It increases the chances of rupture. However, if you did reuse it, but it does not rupture, you're still fine :)

Nope. It is fine to continue to have sex, as long you use condoms and use them correctly. :)
And no. A condom failure is a big hole, not tiny holes. As long as the condom is intact and cover the head of the penis, you have no risk of contracting the virus.

You had protected sex, that's no risk, what's hard to understand? Ah yes symptoms, in that case we should give every fat bloke a pregnancy text then?

No, i think logic should prevail and time you got educated on HIV and stop having sex until you do!!!

Thanks so much for the reply......ur advice is very helpful:) by the way, i just want to add that i have a habit of staying up late at night browsing around and i hardly get 4 hours of sleep. on top of that, i dont usually do any physical exercises and i'm quite a lazy guy:) so i'm just wondering whether the pain(symptoms) i'm having now is just a coincidence or is it the HIV virus....this keeps me thinking a lot. This sexual encounter was the first ever for me but i'm panicking as she was a prostitute and what if she was HIV+. i'm sure i'm NEVER GONNA visit a prostitute again..i didnt had any high fever...is that a good sign? Thanks for any suggestion.....

Muscular pain can be the cause of everything. Maybe, a bad sleeping habit? I don't know. Many things. Have you been carrying too much loads this few days? That's something you have to ask your GP about it getting checked. :)
Protected sex is completely safe as long the condom did not break, and used properly (the head is completely covered, correct orientation). You did not put yourself at risk.
However, if you have decided to have a test, go ahead. Not because of this event, but for your peace of mind (although it isn't necessary, and a waste of time, money, and energy). It will come back negative for sure, unless this is not the only events you had. Unless so, you have nothing to worried about.
All in all,
YOU HAVE NO HIV!
Merry Christmas. :)
