with the sensitivity of today's tests...it is HIIIIIIIIIIIGHLY unlikely that your 8 week negative test result will change.

You are convinced that you have hiv. Good. However your 8 week negative test proves you do not have hiv. An 8 week negative is unlikely to change. Take a final test at the 3 month mark and let go.
Rubber up and play safe!

well when i tested in calgary they told me they use the 4 th generation tests. i even did a pcr in vancouver at 3 weeks.i also did a other hiv test at 6 and 8 weeks.  and yes in calgary the nurse told me that after a month i am clear.i also did all std checks.  why would i have symptoms for over 2 months.  between those 2 months i was in.bed badly ill for at least 5 days. flu. i dont think that all my symptoms are cause by anxiety. actualy its my symptoms who cause my anxiety.  do you know anything else about that allergic season?

I am in Edmonton and I find it hard to believe that they told you that you were fine after your four week test. I don't know what your symptoms are but your sex two months ago also was the start of an epic allergy season. So malaise could be due to that. There are a whole slough of sti 's that you can get from unprotected sex you should have a full std panel done by your doctor-- talk to your dr. But if you test at three months and you are negative you can rest assure that your health problems Are not hiv related perhaps they are anxiety related because you feel like you should have caught something from your encounter.
