Vaginal Ultrasound and HIV risk from it

Hi. I saw the probe doesnt have any protection on and my dr just put gel and stick the probe inside of me. I was thinking maybe they have other sanitizing solutions. I couldn’t sleep at night thinking and i go there to talk. They said dr should have put a condom or protection on and if she didn’t she should have. Now im concerned if she used the probe accidentally to times and if the patient before me have hiv/stds? What should i ask the dr now and should i be concern? Im having my period so im bleeding. And i think vaginal ultrasound can think like penetrating.

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected (no condom) penetrative anal or vaginal sex, OR
2) Sharing IV drug equipment with other IV drug users.

Any bodily fluid like blood and semen does not maintain infectiousness once it is outside of the body. So, blood on objects like the ultrasound probe would not be infectious.  A vaginal probe is NOT like penetrating with a penis, at all.  You had no risk for HIV.
