Swiss HIV experts have produced the first-ever consensus statement to say that HIV-positive individuals on effective antiretroviral therapy and without sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are sexually non-infectious. The statement is published in this week’s Bulletin of Swiss Medicine (Bulletin des médecins suisses). The statement also discusses the implications for doctors; for HIV-positive people; for HIV prevention; and the legal system.
Your false- 21 years and i did'nt feel a thing...okay. Your always dismissing any illness as non-related if a person that does not have hiv can experience the same illness. I've seen you do this time and time again and it's a falsehood...Average person will probably only go 3 years man...you know it to, your always withholding things when you know the drill man..
I'd recommend the both of you test even though your probably both negative it's a worthwhile precaution.
Quit giving out false information to people You don't know what you are talking about.
It would be highly unlikely that symptoms were not displayed as most infected individuals will have and initial healthy period of 5-7 years. Most people will undergo some sort of illness that indicates some other type of underlying health issues. Staying healthy and unaware for 10 years is possible but highly unlikely-if you had untreated hiv for 10 years your immune system would be on the verge of crashing or due to crash in the immediate future as most will only last 10-12 years without meds, usually less.
Not necessarily. I never showed signs of HIV infection for 21 years. If she has a concern tell her to go get a rapid test. As long as she hasn't had any unprotected sex three months before she tests then she will have a conclusive test result.
