Yes your test is conclusive, you do not have HIV .
I was reading that these tests might not be reliable or definitive.
*That's the reliability of the oral swab tests
Then take an elisa antibody or a p24combi test.
* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusively negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusively negative results or a no-risk situation will be based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
* After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
* Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
* Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.
Well I just wanted to know whether they were truly reliable tests and maybe what I was reading was wrong information.
A question about my 109 day oral swab:
The lady stopped the timer shortly after 20 minutes and showed me that no line popped up to indicate that it was positive. I have read online that your not suppose to read a result before 20 minutes or after 40. So does that mean that since we didn't wait 40 minutes that the result isn't conclusive?
Maybe your misunderstanding what you read...not to read the result before 20 minutes and no longer than 40 minutes
I kind of understand. But what I'm wondering Is that the only lines that sow up are to indicate,
1. the control line
and
2. A positive rear
A line won't appear if the test is negative, like mine. But I'm curious to whether or not a positive line could have appeared shortly after I left? She sent me on my way at 22 minutes.

Nooooo...you are over thinking and she new what she was doing. Your test is reliable, accurate and conclusive. Quit putting yourself through this and forget about it now.
My tests since exposure are as follows:
4 week oral swab: negative
8 week EIA: negative
83 day oral swab: negative
109 day oral swab: negative
Everyone says I can move on (you guys, Dr. Hook, doctors). But the reason I'm worried a lil still is because my new gf got sick about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks after we became intimate (protected vaginal, unprotected oral, deep kissing). She has been suck on and off for almost two weeks (scratchy throat, cough, a headache today). I'm worried I could have given her something after reading stuff online.
Enough. You don't have HIV.
Teak, and these oral tests are super reliable?
Yes they are reliable. Now move along.
Thanks so much Teak. My girlfriends sickness must be a coincidence. Did you read my post about how the counselor sent me on my way after 22 minutes? I was curious if you had to stay the 40 minutes to make sure nothing shows up on the test?
No I didn't stay at all, I was contacted two weeks later.
But what I'm asking is it says online thy you are not suppose to read the test before 20 minutes or after 40 minutes. I'm wondering if I should have stayed the whole time to make sure it wasnt positive? That's why I'm confused on whether I'm really negative or notsince he sent me home after 22 minutes saying it was negative.

Teak, I know your more familiar then me with the HIV tests, but was this 109 day conclusively negative or did she send me on my way too soon to be sure? That's all I want to know.
Your test was conclusive, anymore posts and you'll be reported to Medhelp.
My left neck gland hurts and feels larger then the right one. I have rea that swollen lymphnodes in the neck are a sign of HIV. Although you cant see it bulging out, it just feels larger.
