11 Week Test

Hello Everyone,

I just realized that the last HIV (ELISA) test I took was 11 weeks and 4 days not the 12 week complete. I received a negative result. Does this 3 days affect anthing?

Please let me know.

If she had not had any unprotected sex 3 months before the test and she received a negative result and if that is the only risk you had then you didn't have a risk.

No it doesnt, its within the period, you dont need to test again, you are not going to seroconvert within a 4 day time frame.  Move on with your life.

I think the actual time frame is usually given as three months, which would actually be 90 days. Your test was after 81 days. It's very likely that you're fine, and you probably don't need to test again, particularly if the "exposure" you are worried about was low-risk.
