2 Day Fever and 2 Day Diarrhea

Is 2 Day Fever of 99 and 2 Bouts of Diarrhea can be a symptom of HIV?

Since your exposure is unprotected sex with probably someone of unknown status, it is better for you to get youself tested for HIV antibodies, about 12 weeks after the exposure and lay all your worries to rest permanently. Do not waste your time on symptoms, they are misleading. Only your test can determine your status conclusively.

My risk was an Unprotected Vaginal sex.
the symptoms started on 21st dec and subsided with diarrhea on lunch time of 26th (Disarrhea happened for only 1 or 2 days)
Fever was maximum 99 but my normal body temperature is 97.5

I am sorry Teak and other posters.
But i am so worried that i just want re assaurance about if anybody gets symptoms will it be like:

3-5 days of fever for 99 if the normal body temperature is 97.5 in morning and goes up till 98.5 to 99 by evening and diarrhea for last 2 days of sickness.
eg if the symptoms start on 21st of a month and goes uptill 26th and have diarrhea on 25th and 26th in afternoon. i know it sounds like Gasteric problem but can it be a symptom of Acute HIV too. its 11th week running and itching on my genitals is continous. wether people can have UTI in acute HIV/ sero conversion period?

Is it possible in ARS to have run down feeling along with fluctuation of body temperature/fever between 98.1 to 99 for 3-5 days and diarrhea in last 2 days on lunch time only?

All i can remember is having run down feeling for 5 days from 21st December 2010 to 26th December 2010. but on 25th and 26th i had diarrhea only for Lunch times. and elevation of Temperature was only for 26th December and rest of the days the temperature was up and down between 98.1 to 99.

Can that be ARS like symptoms?

The fever will not be mild, it will be 101+ and it will last at least 1 week. You don't get mild symptoms, you either get symptoms or you don't and they will last at least 1 week.

So If Anyone going through ARS whether all the symptoms come together? to which i know the answer is YES.

But if a person is having only FEVER and Diarrhea as 2 symptoms.
Will Fever come and stay for 3 days or so and then Diarrhea comes for 2 days. i know the length comes to only 5 days in total and you have told me 1-2 weeks. but is it possible to have MILD Symptoms and can they have like Fever of 99 and Diarrhea for last 2 days of Sickness?

ARS lasts 1-2 weeks not 2 days.

What is the fever that can be considered as an ARS?
I have read various posts in which you have taken out your time and answered them as 101 and greater.

Various websites also says that during Acute HIV Infection there can be Low Grade Fevers along with other symptoms.

What are the low grade fevers like?

My normal body temperature is 98.0 so if i am running my body temperature at 99 for 2-3 days and have diarrhea for 2 days.

Does it sound like ARS? If Symptoms occur at all?

Had no RASH, Swollen Nodes or Sore thorat.

When i know symptoms are no way to diagnose.
My 12 weeks are completing next weekend after unprotected exposure so i am going to test then.
