Hi, around two years ago i had a sexual encounter and since around 6 months i have had persistant swollen nodes in my groin, armpit and behind knees. Could this be due to possible HIV? Does this sound typical?

thanks

Yes - But you will still need to be tested to know your status.

Get tested for HIV  - this will be the only way to know your HIV status. Symptoms do not tell you anything about your status.

Anyone have any advice. Do these swollen nodes for this period of time sound linked to hiv?

The lady in question has told me she is clean. Are these nodes common and time frame correct too?
