Unprotected oral sex with a rent boy and sore throat

On 28th June 2011, I called a rent boy in London and had anal sex with him, I wore an extra safe slightly thicker latex durex condom, which I guess didn't break during sex. But I had oral sex with the guy for two minutes and I could taste his precum in my mouth when I spat it out and stopped any more oral with him.
Now after 7 days on 5th July I had an itching sensation for 20 minutes all over my body and had after that what followed was an intense dry cough which continues till date, now on the 10th day 8th July I have intense pain in my throat which is sore and I am coughing dry. I have NO fevers, body aches, fatigue, headaches, diarrhoea or so called swollen lymph nodes. I have been checking my fevers but they are not there.
The sore throat is killing me to death and I am dead scared if it is a primary HIV infection. Please can someone tell me if just a sore throat and dry cough is a symptom of primary HIV infection and does the oral sex I performed on the rent boy pose an HIV threat to me. I didn't have ulcers, sores, cuts bleeding gums or wounds in my mouth then.
I'm can't sleep , enjoy life or study or think of anything else due to these worries. I am a masters student and am worried sick. Please can someone tell me am I at a risk???

Oral sex in NOT a risk for hiv.  Your salivia has over a dozen enzyme and proteins which immediately deactivate the virus.

Whatever is happening with regards to your throat is a very unfortunate coincidence but definitley not HIV.

I would recommend you go and see a doctor, get them to take a swab and treat whatever is going on with your throat.

It is most definitley not HIV, you need to move on from this and understand that what you have done is in no way shape or form a risk.  When you engage in intercourse ALWAYS use a condom and you will remain HIV free.

You never had an exposure and you did not need testing for HIV.

Thank you Emmahelen, I went to a GUM clinic at the Royal Free Hospital in London and got tested Negative for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. I thank God for that. But I just wanted to ask is a test good enough just 17 days after exposure to be conclusive???
