4-6 weeks negative

This is a tough subject to talk about but I need to know the answer to make me feel better.  I was raped in october by a guy i had been seeing.  We had consential sex months before unprocted and I did not know his status. About 4-6 weeks after the rape incident.  I got test for HIv and it came back negative.  Is this a good sign that i am negative?  I was thinking it was because I had unprotected consential sex with him months before and could have caught it than.  Has anybody test postive after a 6 week negative?

that was actually my next question.  What would be the chances of testing positive at 3 months past exposure

A six week neg puts you in VERY safe territory.  I would be shocked if your final

test at 13 weeks was pos.

3 months post exposure is when you can obtain a conclusive negative test result.

3 months is conclusive...6 weeks is a very good indication but you need to follow up with the 3 month test.
