40 Days

Hello friends. I am just curious on percentages or if I can get a prior thread regarding time frames that would be appreciated. I would like to know the accuracy of a 35 to 40 day hiv test.

Teak, no offense --- you are a highly respected person, but you have such a Short Fuse.

Well you were given bad info or what you told them is different then what you said here. You had no risk.

BS. You didn't have a risk and the Dept of Health didn't say you had a risk.

I welcome your input and Thank you.  Can you access why I am getting certain pains like constant Headaches/Leg cramps/Stomach pains and LYMPH NODE pain for the past two weeks. I have been getting pelvic pain on and off?  I also had a rash that went away rather quickly.

1. Can this be attributed to prior antibiotic use say 2 weeks ago?

2. Internet Searches have stated that these symptoms are indicative of HIV Viruses/Strains.

3. The CSW was of brazilian decent, could she have had a strain of HIV 2 instead of HIV 1?

I called the Dept. of Health in  LA, The Technician  told me that I put myself in jeapordy and should get tested in 2 months.

I know paranoia has sunk in, but any more info would be beneficial.

Your situation as I said is no risk. We don't deal with percentages here. You either had a risk or you didn't.

The virus does no get absorbed through the skin so it doesn't matter how much the condom covered as long as it covered the head of your penis, and any cuts and scratches are not big enough or deep enough for a risk.

Do you mind, helping me out. I would like another opinion. The  person that was helping me was  too cut and dry and did not answer my question on areas not covered by condom. Like vaginal secretions and transmission occurence through other means EX,scrapes, cuts etc. I would like a more detailed response. A detailed response on percentages and other transmission routes would help me persoanlly access my situation.
