I have a vaginal sex without condom. And I have tested myself by using 3 generations at 56 days after exposure and the result is negative. Do i need to retest again until 12 weeks? I heard that 8 weeks is also realible. Please answer it. I need a clear explanation. So worry

The Drs who used to post here have over 30 yrs each in the field of hiv and have not seen in their experience an 8 week negative turn positive.

Not saying it can't happen, just they haven't seen it.
A final 12 test should remain negative.
Hope this helps you relax until then.

Today it's already 90 days , but i think i don't want to retest again.
I'm not sure what the guidelines are in Indonesia, in the U.S. an antibody only test is conclusive 12 wks and beyond.
You tested at 8 wks.
It's your responsibility to test for your sake and future partners based on testing methods in your area for a conclusive result.
