8 WEEK TEST RESULTS!!!!

just got off the phone with the GP.My 8 week hiv antibody result was negative.Will probably test out to 3 mths just to satisfy myself but i am sooo relieved.My exposure was protected vaginal and unprotected oral.Low risk like everyone on this forum told me.I would like to thank all the ppl here who advised me and calmed me down.Without this forum i probably would have been in a very bad mental state.

Just got my results!!!! All is fine and im in the clear.I tested out till 3 months even tho i was told low to no risk exposure.Im done with testing and i will NEVER get myself in a similar situation again.Thanks to all who have reassured me and helped me thru the last couple of mths.I am truely grateful.No need to name u,U knw who you are!!!! and thank God for this site and the ppl who run it.Without it i wud probably have checked into a mental institute.Everyone waiting for results i wish u all good luck and healthy lives.

had'nt heard of it,was just curious as to what it was.Too late to get it done whatever it is as im receiving my conclusive 3 mth results tomorrow morning.Hopefully it will be negative.

do not waste your time for this issue.
you see..you started to ask questions:
1) what is PCR
2) what is the difference of PCR DNA and RNA
3) Why do some people say 6 months
4) what is the accuracy of hiv tests
etc...
You had no risk. The important part was that.
Now, if I start to read about cancer, probably i will take related tests next week..
No risk. No test.

I should be getting my 3 mths results tomorrow morning sometime.Am definitely nervous and on edge but not as much as i have been over the past few months.Will post

The only reason i'll test out till the 3 month mark is for peace of mind.Because of the symptoms i was having i decided to test in the 1st place coz i got freaked out.God bless all the ppl who helped me out especially yourself

You didn't have a risk to begin with so I wouldn't have expected anything other than a negative result. You didn't need the first test let alone worrying yourself about a 3 month test.
