A lot of symptoms. Infected?

Hi! I am a heterosexual guy currently living in Sweden. I'm really worried about having caught HIV.. It all started 7 months ago when I had unprotected sex with a 25-year old girl. About 2 and a half weeks later i developed a rash on my stomach consisting of 10-15 small red, raised, bumps from which I could squeese out some blood. They were not itchy or painful and didn't really bother me at all. A part from that I didn't have any other symptoms.. well that's not quite true. I do remember having a small bump on my scrotum. At the same I started dating a new girl. We had sex a couple of times and a few weeks later she got a rash similar to the one I had. I feel quite stupid that i didn't react to this. But hiv or any other STD just didn't cross my mind. I just thought we had caught some sort of harmless but contagious skin disease. After breaking up with this girl I've met two other girls and have had sex with both of them. What really scares me now is that they both almost exactly 2 weeks after I had sex with them got sick with fever, sore throat and muscle pain. I was talking to my friend about HIV the other day when it suddenly hit me!! All these symptoms me and my girlfriends have had could be ARS! Maybe I caught HIV and then passed it on to these poor girls. I feel so stupid now but HIV just hasn't been a part of my world. I'm going to get tested soon but I would just like to hear your opinion on my situation and the symptoms that me and my girlfriends have had! My anxiety level is quite high now and I'm almost certain that I'm infected with HIV..
Thank you

Symptoms mean NOTHING when it comes to one's status, Your risk may have been low but a risk is a risk!  Testing is needed to find out your status. As LIZZIE said your symptoms do not indacate HIV infection but this does not rule it out at all. Most people that test poz have no symptoms and most people with ALL the ars symptoms test neg. So as you can see symptoms really mean nothing and anxiety plays a HUGE part in it all.

Thank you for your comment. Of course I know how hiv is transmitted. Since hiv is still quite  uncommon where I live and the risk of being infected is low I've always thought that my risk of contracting the virus when practicing unsafe sex is minimal. I'm not defending myself. Just explaining my foolish and naive behaviour. I should have known better and I hate myself for my mistakes. No matter if I'm positive or negative I will never practice unsafe sex unless i know both me and my partner are negative.
I will try to get tested ASAP!
Again to the symptoms. You don't think their indicative of primary infection? The anxiety is killing me and I probably deserve it...

Thanks again

A worried soul

" But hiv or any other STD just didn't cross my mind ".

" I feel so stupid now but HIV just hasn't been a part of my world "

this is 2010 ! ! !  are you saying that you did not know that hiv is transmitted through having unprotected sex?

the rash on your stomach AND all the girl's stomachs is not indicative of hiv.  doesnt mean you dont have hiv...just means it's not indicative of early infection.

the ONLY way to know one's status is by testing at the appropriate time.
