A strange curious question

I know you can not get hiv through environmental surfaces and the virus gets weak straight away. Is there any possibility the virus can be alive inside highlighter caps ?

Had a open cut in my hand opened a highlighter cap and blood squirted out which was pretty disgusting into my cut. Is there any differences to the theory since it was closed inside the highlighter cap ?
