thanks guys...i have a really sore throat, some coughing, weakness and some low grade fever...am **** scared and this was the stupidest thing i did in my life...i hope i can get through this and pledge never to repeat this incident again...not worth the diseases or the mental pain!
Sorry, my bad....i have no idea how i read it as 1 year!!!
just to point out the OP has stated he had sex for 1 hour not 1 year...wait for the 3 month mark which is 35 days from now and get a conclusive result and put this behind for you good.
Since you have been having unprotected sex since a year, you can take a test now and once after 3 months from your last unprotected sexual episode.
An 8 week result will give you a fairly good idea of your status and is unlikely to change. Though a 3 month test is conclusive.
I had unprotected penetrative sex for almost 1 hour with the prostitute...she later told me that she was not hiv positive but i can't really go by that. Will an antibody test after 55 days give me a satisfactory result (like 95% correct)?
If you had unprotected penetrative sex, the only way to know your status is by testing with an HIV test. You can obtain your conclusive test result 3 months post exposure.
