Another oral sex question

I know the risk of hiv from giving a girl oral is very low, but I have heard it can happen to you if you have cuts in your mouth; also, she was a sex worker ( not the classy kind either, but she did pull out a condom for vaginal intercourse).

1. how big does the wound need to be in your mouth (gaping/noticeable wound, or one that you can't even notice? )

2. Does there need to be blood coming from her ( i.e. menstruation), or can it be fromthe vaginal secretions when giving her oral?

3. Can you still taste blood, even if there is no open wound?

I have heard this still carries minimal risk, while I have also heard it can carry a substantial risk. I am so confused and worried; please help !

Yes, I know a lot of people that have. You are not going to get HIV from oral sex.

Sorry to post so much; I did take a test 5 days ago. It's just that with certain symptoms, and the fact that I have led a fairly promiscuous life with sex workers for the past 4 years, I am beyond sure I have hiv. I cry all the time when I think of my little boy, and what I have done to him; and now he has a fever in the middle of summer; I can't help thinking " did I somehow infect him " ?

Does anyone know of anybody who has had alot of high risk partners for years, always protected vaginal and anal, lots of receptive oral without condom, and a decent amount of performing cunnilingus, and they still did not contract hiv?

I am sorry as I appear overly dramatic, but I can't help it; I feel that I have ruined my sons life, even if he does not have it. This anxiety inside me has taken hold, and I truly honestly believe I will suffer a heart attack before I get my results. I am a complete mess.

Wayne if you didn't have a cut that needed sutures then don't worry about it. You keep coming back with additional questions, is it you want us to tell you to go test? If you want to take an HIV test then go test.

Would the time of exposure be relevant whatsoever? (6-8 seconds, possibly shorter?). Also, if it were broken, and I ejaculated inside her, would that increase my risk?.

Also, you said small cuts; what if this were a decent sized cut?

Thanks for all your info. .

You do not contract HIV by fingering. It doesn't matter if you have small cuts, nicks or hangnails.

There is less of a chance with anal sex heterosexually, but it is still possible to contract HIV and other STDs in that manner. Always use a condom, consistently and correctly with plenty of water base lube.

Another question; what if you fingered a girl anally, and you had a cut on your finger? Could blood from her anus (if she did bleed), infect this open wound?

If there is unprotected anal for 6-8 with ejaculation, is this a major risk, or does the amount of time you are in here (heterosexual encounter), make adifference? It was not vigorous at all that I can remember. Also, we did start with a condom, so it could have been an even shorter time than that.

Thanks a whole bunch.

Wayne, you do not contract HIV from going down on a woman. Period. It has never happened and you won't be the first.
