p24 and antibody question

I was wondering 1)if someone was late to produce antibodies, ie: negative result but actually they were infected. would a p24 at say 3 months be positive even at that late stage?
2) is it the antibodies that stop the detection of the protein detected by p24? (so when protiens are not detectable antibodies have to be)
3) is p24 totally useless at say 3 to 6 months after infection?

Yes, I actually missed the second part of the question, sorry.  There is a second "window" there of course  - but that's none of your concerns, rippley.  You are outside of every possible window period, you are negative.

2. the answer is no. When antibody productions starts the number of antibodies may not be detected when antigens are no longer detectable.
