Am I at risk? Please help

I recently got a new tattoo done. Now I know that there have been no recorded instances where HIV infection has been the result of getting a tattoo I would like to put up my specific situation and question to better help ease my anxiety.

As it is I got a new tattoo the past Saturday 07.01.17 and it's healing right now with some redness, tenderness, and heat around the area. On the Monday here was a small barely pea size lump under my right armpit which towards the end of the day didn't hurt anymore and had almost disappeared.

My concerns ware that though this was done at a proper shop and the needles were new and even the tube was from a sealed packet, upon finishing and getting wrapped up the tattoo artist applied a coat of wax for a tin. My concern is that right before my artist scooped the wax with his pinky another (glove still on) a different artist had done the same just before hand with their finger (glove still on from their tattoo session)

Is there a chance transmission could occur in this case say from one finger into the wax then onto my fresh tattoo??

I am very wary when it comes to tattoo so this will be my last once it's complete and I watched the tattoo artist as much as I could like a hawk to make sure they didn't prick themselves.

I know I'm be irrational and this is my anxiety talking but to here it from someone else would go a long way.

Thanks

Last thing. The small lump in my right arm pit. Should I be concerned?

It hurt yesterday, feeling w little tender, but got much better (a lot less pain) now it's only sore and only if I press on it but it's still there.

Could this be a reaction to the tattoo itself or should I be concerned?

You are over-analyzing your body due to your fears. If this lump even exists I would be surprised, perhaps because I have never examined my armpit for lumps, but see doc if you are worried that it is a cancer.
I agree that I'm being anxious and the anxiety is causing me to be overly critical but I am sure the lump is new. The tattoo was a little red and sore and the small lump appeared or rather I felt it there on the Monday. It's still there now but now only sore not tender and painful like the day I found it.

Anyway I've had this sort of thing before on my left side with another tatto and got my self tested negative over a year after.

It's just that it gets to me. And a second voice helps.

Reason I ask is they then wrapped my arm in clear wrap and I had that on for a few hours I think as I went for dinner afterwards.
NFL players hit each other at top speed and draw blood but that is not an HIV risk because it has to be deep gaping wounds, and the HIV has to be thrust deep in them - so I think wrap is safe.

HIV is inactivated in the air, and your situation is classified as air contact.
