Afraid of getting hiv

Hi friends. I am new to this forum. I am from India. I know that oral sex does not transmit HIV. Occasionally i go to clubs and parties. I often have oral sex( unprotected) but never had vaginal or anal. One of my friends recently got HIV. He said that he had only oral sex. Now am freaking out. Does really oral sex transmit HIV or is my friend lieing that he had only oral sex?? Kindly help me. I had oral sex even 3 dys before.      Thank You

your sore throat is totally unrelated to hiv infection.

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex.  The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way.  Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk".  There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".

you did not have a risk for contracting hiv.  this forum is hiv specific so any questions regarding other stds should be addressed on the std forum.

thanks kumar007. Will TriDot and Elisa test also detect STD and when can i have these tests. I heard that we have to wait 3 months. Any other tests to detect earlier?? I forgot to say. Since 3 days i have throat pain. I read that its a symptom of HIV. Sorry for asking again. But please can u confirm. Thanks

TriDot and Elisa cost about Rp200-300...both are reliable tests..
if you only had oral sex you dont need a test...it will be negative for sure

Thanks for ur reply. I like to know about the tests for hiv and other STD. Which tests will be conclusive and how much it may cost in India. I want to get 100% clean report. Kindly advice me
