does a 2 year after exposure test as accarute as one 6 months after exposure?
So guys i was woundering if any of you knew or comment on this. If you wait over 2 years after having unprotected vaginal sex to get tested for hiv antibodies how accurate are the hiv antibody tests then? And can the body stop creating antibodies after 2 years of being infected with hiv therefore the antibody tests would show negative?
unprotected vaginal sex. I didnt take the orasure hiv antibody test until 2 years later and it came back negative but i have some ars related symptoms still. like white tongue, itchy skin, depression.
i was asking if a hiv antibody test 2+ years after possibly exposure is as accurate as taking the test after 6 months of exposure? or if waiting 2 years after exposure may give a false negative?
