kiss) I noticed she also had a crack on her lip, so this made me worried that I might have contracted HIV virus (if she has it)
I know that kissing is not that effective on transmission of HIV, however she had a cracked lip and so do I, it lasted 3 seconds. I also felt some liquid in my mouth (might be drop of blood from her crack) (-and I have burned tongue at the moment this happened)
Thanks a lot Mike, I know about that website..and it is pretty handy to keep as a bookmark.. as I read a lot about this subject. Still I couldn't get the way?
I mean if she is HIV+ and has bledding cracked/chapped lip..and I also have a cracked/chapped bleeding lip..a lip to lip kiss that lasts about 3 seconds and these cracks / chapped lips contact each other..according to what I read from the link you posted this is risky as there is blood involved.
Can you explain me why? I just want to learn and educate myself.
For any sort of risk to be present, you needed a FRESH wound which had to bleed PROFUSELY and should have been a gaping wound now that had to come in contact with a substantial amount of blood (evident)
So this should put my daily worries to rest (some turned into obsession) on contacting with drops of blood, especially during the times in winter when both myself and lots of people have chapped /cracked lips etc and kiss etc.
How can I get rid of this, do I need a therapist, or should I teach it myself (which is pretty difficult - as OCD symptoms are difficult to control)
Mike I listened to you and I'm starting therapy next week. I'm so positive about it..so lets hope it helps bro. I'm so tired of all this.
BTW just another question on my mind I had for some time, as I told above will it make any risk if I swallow some small amount of blood from her cracked lips down my throat ? You say it's not possible without an fresh open wound but what if some some small amount of blood goes down my throat just after kiss, when I gulp and swallow?
