should i get retested?

I have always been save with sex.  A few years ago I had a fling with someone who I am unusre of their risky behavior.  We always used a condom when having sex.  I did however give him oral sex without one, and he did come in my mouth.  I regretted doing it right after and as time went on worry consumed me.  I sortly thereafter ended the fling and met my husband.  After about 9 month of giving the oral sex.  i decided to get tested.  The test came back negative.  it was one of those quick 20 min blood tests of the finger.  The results came back negative, but at times I still do worry.  i also have been reading that some disorders can cause a false negative?  I was recently diagnosied with kidney disease could that of somehow gave me a false negative?  i was diagnosed 1 year ago and I was tested about 3 years ago.  Please help I worry all the time.  I am a worrier but I need to know could it have been a false negative?

You can NEVER get HIV from Oral sex. NO way. Ok, these are some of the things that makes the transmission from oral ZERO;saliva does contain substances that have anti-HIV properties, Also including that not all mucous membranes are the same. Some, like that in the mouth, are much more durable than the mucous membrane of, say, the urethra. The chance of trauma from the amorous activities involving various "poles in holes" is less in the oral cavity than, say, in the anal canal.
