CDC Window period

CDC window period for 3 months and 6 months for few people(Chemo etc ) is applicable for all countries? and for all Types of Tests?please guide

No it does not, all tests today have the 3 month window period. And has been that way since the 90's.

The CDC are ultra conservative and there is no such window period as 6 Months and the expert doctors here at medhelp have said this time and time again,does that answer your question.3 Months is the official Hiv window period and thats it.

If one is on chemo, takes antirejection or are chronic IV drug abuses it may take longer  to obtain a conclusive test result.
