OraQuick test

I took the OraQuick saliva test today, and the result was negative.  However, I only did the buttom of the gums, and forgot the top.

Does this matter for the test?  The nurse said that if the saliva wasnt enough, it would remain blank - is this true?  even if i only swabbed one side of the thing, does the negative result stand as the correct one?

thanks

Well, I did both upper and lower gums, but with only one side of the white thing.

What was your risk and when was your exposure?

Yea, but I rubbed it only on my buttom gums.  Is the result valid?

Oraquick is not a saliva test. It tests oral mucosal transudate from the gums and cheek.
