8 weeks neg ELISA test....few circumstantial question please read

Hey all,

I've been reading this forum for a little while and i was wondering how sound my results seem to be as far as my risks are concerned.  Here's a little about my situation:

So, i had a guy i was dating for about 2 months over the summer and we had unprotected vaginal intercourse about 7 times.  i was living in Oklahoma at the time and i KNOW i was HIV negative before i had engaged in intercourse.  He's a good guy who doesn't sleep around (as far as i know), has his masters and is a professional counselor.  I am pretty sure that he does not have HIV but i went to get tested for some reassurance with an at home ELISA test at 8 weeks and it came back negative.  I am somewhat reassured in this fact but i would like to know what you all think?  I am going to get a 3 month test in about 3 weeks or so and i'm confident that it will be nag as well, but you never know, and that's the difficult part.  I also read in many places that Oklahoma is a low risk state as far as HIV is concerned, and also that vaginal sex is not as likely to transmit HIV as anal.  Just some thoughts.

All comments or questions are welcome.

Thanks guys

Thank you everyone! :)  I actually talked to the guy last night about my worries and he said that he was tested before we ever got together so this definitely eases my mind.  And i know it was sooooo stupid not to use protection, it was my first time to do so and i think that's why i'm not only worried about these things but as well as beating myself up for such a poor decision!

Thank you all again!  And i will get tested in 3 months of course just for my definitive results, even though the 8 week was prob about 95% confident :)))

I'm so sry, It was not my intent to offend, tht is the last thng I want to do. I used 'clean' in the context tht she is free frm infection and should stp worrying. I understand wht you mean tuzan. Point taken.
Teak, sry if I offended, it wasn't meant to be taken like tht.

I feel I can add a little to this, as far as your 8 week result, it is not likely to change, You're very, very, very likely negative. Smile,
=)
3 months, according to Teak is conclusive.
I don't understand though, why no Condom, you should NOT be taking chances and I hope you learn frm this, ALWAYS use a PROPER Condom in the approved manner to avoid HIV and most other STD's
Smile.
=)
You're MOST probably clean.
