Hello, symptoms are not used to diagnose HIV and as stated accurately by our members, oral sex is not a risk for HIV. There has been no legitimate documented case of transmission in this manner. As your question has been fully answered, we are now closing this discussion. We wish you the best of health.

Thank you very much for your reply it is very reassuring. If I manage to survive this HIV scare I promise myself to live a totally monogamous life from here on. There is just one thing that bothers me that this is the only forum that takes the stance that oral sex is zero or no risk! all others claim it to be low risk or 1 in 20,000 or something like that. What is the reason for that? Secondly can I wait 6 weeks to get test for all my STIs at once or will it complicate a possible case of NGU or Gonorrhoea? As I will have to arrange for the tests very discreetly and can not let any of my family members know it will be difficult to do them many times over.
Oral sex is NOT a risk for HIV and you do NOT need to test.
On the other hand, oral sex can be a risk for other STI's (sexually transmitted infections) like gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia etc.
I would advise that you test for these at the correct window periods.
