If Teak is around, have you got any comments on this, cheers
A conclusive negative HIV test, that's what you had.
I,m not guilty mate, worried not guilty, these are real health problems i have, not "all in the mind", please dont dismiss me
I thought that it disapeers for a while after primary, I just thought that in a minority of people in progresses quicker, you can understand my concerns with these problems, in my mind i say to myself it must be something else, and everyone I speak to says theres virtually no chance of me having hiv, but I still have these problems which seen to fit the bill perfectly!!
Do you know what the blood test is called in the UK and how accurate it actually is, thanks for the responses
These are not HIV health problems, though. That's all I can say.
Can someone tell me what test I have done at the local GUM clinic Please
Ship it to the anxiety forum. This is not, remotely, an HIV concern. You have guilt-driven-anxiety...this is very apparent.
Also your symptoms don't suggest a recent hiv infection, believe it or not.
Usually people have a short febrile illness soon after infection which is followed by years of asymptomatic illness.
STOP POSTING IN CAPS!!!!!!
I'm sure because your odds are zero.
Zero risk and a negative test at 4 months.
Zero times zero = one big fat zero.
Consider other possibilities, EBV is an obvious candidate, among others.
And symptoms don't mean jack here. Quit reposting them. It doesn't matter.
THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE BUT HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE, BECAUSE OF THE ODDS!!
WHY DID THIS START HAPPENING TO ME AFTER 2 WEEKS OF MY INCIDENT? HOW SAFE IS THE UK HIV BLOOD TEST, (IS THIS AN ELISA TEST DO YOU KNOW)
SINCE THIS I HAVE TURNED INTO A WORRIER, I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO BEFORE.
MY SYMPTOMS ARE ALL MENTIONED AS POSSIBLE HIV SYMPTOMS
THRUSH
SWOLLEN LYMPHS
ACHES AND PAINS
BLURRED VISION
SORE THROAT
COULD I NOT BE THE 1/1000000 PERSON WHO TAKES LONGER TO PRODUCE THE ANTIBODIES
Clearly not an HIV concern.
Herpes, Candida, allergy, autoimmunity whatever.
Get better.
This is not HIV, no way, no how. You did not remotely have a risk here and your 4.5 month negative test was 1.5 months more than you needed. Go see your MD...
