ARS symptoms

Please hear me . I would like to know if ARS symptoms comes all at once and go all at once  or do some go away and some stay or do some cme back. I am confused I have been going thru now for about 3 months started with sore throat, swollen pallet,  tigghtness in the jaw, tightness around around the temple and around the eyes and feeling lousy. Now neck sore hot flashes, thigh bone hurt  Had hiv test one at 8wks and another at 12 weks both negative. Could it be that hiv didn't show up in the test how likely is that. What really is freaking me out is that my wife is haveing the weird symptoms also she nows nothing about my encounter so I can't label that anxiety. Can someone help give me some insight.

There is no reason for him to continuing testing he has a conclusive test result and there is no need to test out to 26 weeks.

Hi Moe,

I am new to this forum and am not expert by any means.
But your symptoms seem more like TMJ (tempo mandibular joint syndrome) caused by stress. You are probably clenching your teeth at night and locking your jaw. This usually happens at night while we sleep due to stress and we have no control over it. It causes symptoms  like you are describing, sore throat, neck, pain in temples, eyeballs, headaches, arms and legs...I have been suffering from this for over 5 years. I use a nightguard at nite. Sometimes helps, sometimes makes it worst. But it is all due to anxiety.

Hope this helps!!!!

I've been in a similar situation myself. According the the experts here, who have an emense amount of knowledge, the combination of 2 negative tests at 6 and 12 weeks can be considered conclusive. However, if you feel the need to ease your mind, take a final test at 26 weeks.

ARS symptoms are similar to those of many other conditions. I recommend seeing a specialist, probably somebody like an ENT since are of your issues seem to revolve around the head.
