Ciprofloxacin  is known to have immuno-regulatory effects al la Crohns disease, so-Would taking 750mg of Cipro twice daily delay HIV seroconversion or formation of antibodies?? This is a question that no others have asked-Thanks-

Ciprofloxacin is an antibacterial chemotherapeutic agent that also happens to have mild *immunosuppressant* properties...but from what I've read that may not be enough to delay seroconversion of HIV.

cipro is an antibiotic.  it works on bacteria. hiv is a virus.  different organisms so they won't affect each other

excuse me?

the head of your penis was covered by a condom.  the fact that it slipped an inch did NOT put you at risk for hiv...PERIOD.

you have been advised that you were not at risk for contracting hiv.  this forum has done it's job.

now move along...

This is a valid question and deserves to be answered-Staph hominis was isolated from my urethra which normal healthy people dont get. Also I am not healing like before-light scratches that my cat gives do not break the skin, yet they take nearly a day to disappear now. My prostate problem for which I have been taking cipro for now is much worse!

This is a forum for others to help each other right? I have had neither a "conclusive negative result or no-risk situation", so why not just choose to answer the question or move on to another post rather than wave the ban-hammer? The whole reason we all come is for support and education~
