Am I Scared Over Nothing?

Hey, I need to know if I am worried for a good reason or not. I was in Vegas with the family and we were at the pool, and I got this boner that wouldn't go away, so I decided to jack it off really quickly in the public restroom. I sat down in the stall and did it really quick, but that night I got flu/cold symptoms and a fever. That was Tuesday, I was in bed all day Wednesday and Thursday I felt a bit better. But now I feel a bit down again. I'm pretty scared I might have gotten HIV from the toilet, but I'm not sure.

I have a fever, sore throat, a stuffy nose and a cough. Am I infected?

goodness me !   hiv from the toilet???

hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

hiv is not transmitted through environmental surfaces or inanimate objects.  once exposed to air it becomes inactive and unable to infect

Thank you for your responses, so it's a coincidence that I just came down with a flu bug and I'm all worked up over nothing?

I understand that, but what if the person that used it before me left some bodily fluid on the toilet and they were infected? Sorry, I'm a bit ignorant about HIV.

If someone can get HIV from a toilet then there would be no public restrooms.
